Disney and Running

Kay, everyone knows I get along with kids so well because I am still a kid. They are more at my level. Well, yesterday morning I went swimming at 5am and lets just say, kids don't like getting up early. Around 8:30 I was wiped out. But I still wanted to go running. So, around 9:30 I finally motivated myself. So, with Sage begging to go outside and my legs aching to stay inside, I decided to let SAGE win. I love her way too much.
Well, I headed out with Sage, a leash, and of course my IPOD. Yes, Jenny, the world of running is so different with tunes. Music has an unique power of influence. Being tired, I needed some pick me up music. WHAT did I pick, DISNEY!!!!!! You'd be surprised how fun it is to run to Ugly Bug Ball or the romantic Mary Poppins, or Lion King. (I just realize that they almost say the F word in the song, F_RT! Pee you!)
Well thanks to the kid tunes, I was rejuvenated and as my spirit lifted so did my legs. Sage and I spent a romantic evening running under the full moon with Disney setting the mood. I ran a lot further and longer with Disney reenergizing me to my youth!

I'm not sure I could run to Disney but good for you going swimming and running in the morning.

I think you've watched Monsters Inc. a few too many times Carlye! Just kidding. No such thing as too much Disney! I'm with Renee on this one though. Not sure those tunes would do it for me. I'm talking a little Shakira, Gwen, or even Rocky! But lets not lose focus of what's important here-you let Sage win. Lucky Dog!
