Kiss Birthday

Carissa's 17th Birthday Party

If you haven't spent much time with Carissa you probably don't know what an amazing women she has grow into. With the "baby of the family" you would expect a spoiled, indulged, selfish person, but Carissa is nowhere near any of these!
She is the most kind hearted teen ager I have ever met. and I have met quite a few! For being so much younger she has taught me so many things. I love her honest. I seek advice from her because she has a gentle heart and an honest one. If i want truth I come to her. She is a friend anyone would want! I am lucky to have her as a sister too!
I remember when she and I were working on my dad's ranch fixing fence, checking steers and just riding horses. Carissa would out work me everyday. Even when the mosquito were eating us alive she would tell me that we need to finish the fence. She has such a strong work ethic. That is why she is so successful in school, basketball, everything she does. And when it comes to birthdays or Christmas everybody anxiously awaits a gift from Kiss, because you know it will be awesome. She really thinks about what you want and no price is too much. Her heart is pure and kind. I really love Kiss and she is such a good example and friend. I am glad to call Kiss sister and Friend!!!

Europe August 2008

This was a visit in Germany to Dachau, one of the most shocking concentration camps. Heartbreakig history of what pride in man can do! The picture that looks like brick ovens, they are! But not for pizza :(

This is Ashley my Europe Partner. We had been on the road for days, can you tell we were getting tired!!!?

A prettier side of Germany. The castle that inspired Disneys Castle.

And hereis my cute german man I wanted to take home.

I loved visiting Europe, But in the end I missed God's Country USA!!! We flew into Paris for a day, then went to Florence, Venice, Italy. Then to Switzerland, which was the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen!!! I would go back there in a heartbeat. Then Germany, Frieberg to Berlin, hopped on a plane to Dontesk Ukraine. And back home. It was a trip full of memories and pictures. God Bless America. I love this land and our people.

GREAT Quote for the confused mind

“Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.”- Rainer Maria Rilke, German poet
Just like a sunset, gradually setting and bringing a new day.
Sunsets are the reminders that a new day is coming, and God will give you rest until then!

Other NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

So, you ready for the big news? Some may think they know, but I am full of surprises! But the best one I recieved was on Father's Day. Matt and Jenny said they are "95%" moving to Utah! Now that is great news. But with my luck my news might make me move to somewhere else before they move here!!!

So, it is official I will be teaching seminary right here in Cache Valley. I will be teaching the Adaptive Needs classes! What a wonderful blessing. If you could only imagine the joy I recieve from teaching such earthly angels. As far as the future, I don't know where they will send me, but for now I am staying right here! Hallelujah!!!!

But before I start teaching, one other thing is also official, I am going to Europe!!! In August! France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, and of course Ukraine!!! Yep, I am pretty much the luckiest person ever!! And after last week and my root canal yesterday, I think I pretty much deserve a little excitment and happiness. What a boost!!!

Sorry if this news disappoints anyone, I know many of you were hoping for the "I am getting married" news. You will just have to wait with me!!!!

Happy Days to all who read. I hope you are smiling as big as me!!! I think the pain killers are helping with that, LOL!

So, being a women isn't exactly easy! Especially at 6am when you feel as if there is a rabid raccoon in your stomach. Labor pains? They don't compare!!! HA HA, right? Well have you ever gone into shock because the pain was so horrid!!! At least you can ask for an epidural! I just thought I was a pansy until my hands started tingling, my legs went numb, and I couldn't breath. Then I finally admitted that I wanted a doctor. Those that know me may know I hate the doctors, and I hate the Logan Emergency room (bad memories). Yet I found myself there, and within 30 minutes my life seemed to be more than the essence of a great dream (drugs!). Gotta love doctors that will give a little help.
Don't worry I am feeling better, and although a hysterectomy sounds fabulous, I will wait and see if the new plan works!!!
ps sorry for any males reading this and catching them off guard, oops!
